Dubai February 23:Left-arm pacer Junaid Khan took a hat-trick to help his side Multan Sultans seal a 43-run win against Lahore Qalandars in the third match of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Qalandars crashed from 105 for two to 136 all out in a matter of 29 balls to hand league newcomers Sultans their second  successive win.

Junaid dismissed Cameron Delport, Yasir Shah and Raza Hasan of three successive balls in the 16th over of the innings to ensure Sultans’ victory.

Umar Akmal 31 and Fakhar Zaman 49 had consolidated Qalandars to a position where they looked well on course of a successful chase of 180 runs before the stunning collapse ensued the defeat.

Earlier, a second successive half-century by Kumar Sangakkara (63) and a 48 run innings by Shoaib Malik took the Sultans to their 179 run total for the loss of five wickets, the highest in the tournament so far.

Ahmed Shehzad scored 38 runs.
